For those of you who may have missed the last 6 months posts here is the scoop I’m doing another photography project with an awesome group of ladies. This is not a 365 day project, or even a 52 week project I have committed to a 12 month project and made it half way through so far! Be prepared for lots of pictures of Lil’ P and Miss K, as this project has a life style feel to it. In the last year I have realized I do not have nearly enough pictures of my kids doing the everyday stuff my kids do! We are calling the series “The Story of ________” and we’ll each be filling in our own blanks. I upgraded cameras finally!!! Yay but that also means learning a whole new camera BOOOO…so this month you get the first in focus image with the new baby ….I hope you enjoy!

So here is March’s The Story of …sidewalk chalk

Next up in this months circle is the amazingly talented Laura Morita …She is amazing.  And on my short list of Photographers that I would love to have family portraits done by!!!

In the last year I have realized I do not have nearly enough pictures of my kids doing the everyday stuff my kids do! I joined a group of wonderfully talented photographers to start a 12 month project we are calling the series “The Story of ________” and we’ll each be filling in our own blanks. The idea is to capture a story as it unfolds. You can find my first month with a full description here. We are in month 5 now and I am loving this this project so much. This month I captured our Saturday morning fun. We were rocking pirate hats and having sword fights. Now I will tell you it is hard work trying to sword battle and capture pictures at the same time.

This week I brought the camera along on Miss K’s play date and boy oh boy I am glad I did.

This week I was at a loss as to what to shot this month until Miss K and Lil’ P  asked for an afternoon snack and as we sat in the dinning room bathed in afternoon sunlight I was inspired in a whole lot of ways.

So here is November’s The Story of ….Potty training

Awhile back mommy got me a lil’ potty…turns out I much prefer the big potty….

After I finish My Business I wipe and wash my hands……

When I am a big girl and do what I should on the potty I get a treat!!

Then I take a victory lap and dance in celebration!!!!!

Fallowed up with a big glass of juice so we can practice some more.

I’m having a go at another photography project. I know I know I always seem to tapper off…. this is not a 365 day project, or even a 52 week project tho. I have admitted defeat in those arenas.  Instead, I  joined a group other busy photographers who decided to commit to a 12 month project! If I fail at this one, I’ll be taking donations for a time management seminar’s. I am so excited for this project, it will be totally candid, lifestyle shots of each of our own lives. So here is October’s The Story of ….Miss K {While her bro-bro is at school}

After Brother gets on the bus I line my lil’ ponies up for roll call!

We play and play and play some more …and then it is nap time (no pictures please I am a light sleeper).

When I wake up I select a slamming outfit and demand a dance party fit for a rock star!!

Ahhhh Lunch TIME!!! My Papa brought me a happy meal today!!

And then Mama says “bro bro will be home soon”  I can not wait to see my  brother and tell him all about my day….
